witnesses maintain STEEM's economy. They work hard behind the scenes to make sure that when we psoting, commenting or upvote that all internal devices are running smoothly. A group of witnesses made a block for the STEEM blockchain using the latest device computers in the world.
The process of block-making routines happens quickly and often. Because Steemit is a social media site, there are lots of bits and pieces of communication to track. Speak literally; New blocks are created every 3 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Blockchain STEEM covers many things and is sustainable from posting lists, voice comments and transfer funds.
Who are they?
Witnesses have a variety of roles - they are community leaders, programmers, and ambassadors for the platform. These individuals were chosen by the general public Steemit in turns and were rewarded with STEEM Power to do their work. Witnesses are usually people who have a strong understanding of the STEEM blockchain and the community that surrounds it. These people can volunteer to be witnesses by creating blog posts that outline the expertise, hardware capabilities and goals of their communities.
Before choosing someone to become or remain a Witness - consider what value this Witness brought to the STEEM network. The collection of all votes is the same when choosing a Witness so take the time to learn about what they do. Does he actively contribute to the value of STEEM? What kind of project is he working on? Witnesses often give reports about their personal accounts and you can explore some of the applications they have created here. The ways of each witness to contribute are very diverse and we encourage every Steemian to conduct research and voting responsibly.
