the factors that influence the distribution network are; Response time, Product variety, Product availability, Customer experience, Time to market, Order visibility and Returnability.

  • Response time is the amount of time needed by the user to get the ordered item. Product variety is the diversity of types of products offered by the distribution network.
  • Product availability is the opportunity or possibility of the user to get the item when the user or customer orders the item. This is related to the availability of goods.
  • Customer experience is the ease and convenience of users or customers in making an order until they get the goods. This is closely related to user experience in transactions.
  • Time to market is the time that a company needs to produce new products and is offered to users.
  • Order visibility is the ability of users or customers to monitor their orders. Starting from ordering items, shipping to receiving goods.
  • Returnability is the ease of a user or customer to return an ordered item if the user is not satisfied with the item received and how the company is able to handle the return of the item.
