Even though big companies have capitalized extremely heavy on Christmas at the end of the day no gift can measure up to being with the family.
Life is hectic and very busy so sometimes we may not have the time to see our family members as often as we would like. So during the holidays it's great to actually spend that good ol' quality time.
So take advantage and spend time with your loved one even if you were not able to splurge on fancy gifts. In twenty years they will not remember the gifts but they will remember seeing everyone together.
If you have no family or friends than I guess maybe just do something special for the next homeless person you see. (Also think about making some friends 😉)
