RE: Trip to Odeceixe - Aljezur | Portugal
Nice photos! I'd love to visit the Algarve coast sometime, and do the hike you mentioned along the coast. Seems like I traveled around everywhere BUT there last year. Interesting countryside, castles,

Thank you @markjason. Well I am an illustrator by trade, so I've had lots of practice and sketch fairly quickly. The pen and ink and pencil sketches don't take a lot of time. but I find the watercolors

@carlgnash Thanks! Yeah it seems like things going wrong offers unforeseen opportunities. I met the coolest people when we were marooned in Santiago. And whenever you have to change travel plans, you are

RE: Conversano (Italy): Discover Ancient Norba. (Part One)
Interesting post! I've been from Rome to Naples but didn't know about Norba. It looks to have definite sketching possibilities. Great photos too!

@marblely Thank you so much. This trip happened ten years ago. I hope to visit Italy again in the next year or two. I was collecting everything on this trip - photos, drawings, audio sounds, ticket stubs.

Thanks for your warm comments @road2horizon. I thought of adding a map of the routes we took, but it was already so long with the 22 drawings that I left it off. Each day brought new and wonderful sites.
