Well I am an illustrator by trade, so I've drawn all my life. And I am used to drawing things out quickly and lightly in pencil before I start using an ink pen. I get the main elements in place, and then the details are easier to fill in. Our next trip is to the US southwest canyon lands next May, but the trip we REALLY want to take is to Italy. Not sure when yet though.
