Thank you @marblely. The sketches don't take too long to do. I'd say on average an hour for each. I like to suggest detail without going too far into it. But the overall structures and perspectives need to work to be convincing. Pencil is faster for me than the inked ones. But it isn't really about speed. I just want to capture a convincing likeness. Actually I find temples intimidating to try to draw because they are so elaborate and symetrically intricate. Old buildings and houses are more forgiving.
