This afternoon, we went to a wedding. It was at a place called Creekside Meadows, and it was a beautiful rustic place. The wedding was outdoors (which we did not know) and the sun was right in our faces. His sunglasses were in his car, and mine were in my car...back at home. They gave us fans to use, but instead of fanning, we were blocking the sunshine.
The wedding was excellent, and they married on the day that they had their first date. So the reception food came from the place where their first date was (Mexican). We stayed and ate, had some of the bride’s cake (didn’t do the groom’s cheesecake), told them how wonderful everything was, and we headed on home.
It was a great day, but sadly the weekend is over. Gotta get back to it on Monday.
