@trendingOf course everyone need's the attention of many people in here. That's why we are here, we are investing because we love other people appreciate us and vote us. Also it's an amazing feeling when someone love's your work. You feel like you want to write again and show them that you can write more, you're writing is always nice. But there's a limitation with that ego you know. We are not the one to judge if our writing is really wonderful to read or to see. Let the people decide if they really appreciate your work or they will praise it.
People ignoring your content for long and you feel like desperate. Why do people ignoring you now when you experienced a lot of praise before. Then it came to your mind that you might need a promotion for better exposure. You began investing steem or should we say vote buying. Although vote buying is not that bad, but.. there's a but now. #newsteem is not accepting action's like that. I feel you, I need more audience. Instead of vote buying why not keep on working to make your content became wonderful. Maybe you're lacking something for now, the creativity, the thoughts that it's fun to read.
Still you won't listen, you keep on vote buying...if you'll doing that I have few understanding about it.
why were you downvoted?
You'll be downvoted of course when you promote post that it doesn't need to be found in trending. For example, you'll send to those whale bot's. You want the bot to upvote it to earn more upvote's and also to be more exposed with everyone. But doing promotion has a limitation you know. You're post is photography but you used bidbots. Isn't it exaggerated? You'll pay bot to make your post be noticed. That's a wrong move I think, let the people appreciate that photo of yours if it's really beautiful.
you're not buying bot's but still downvoted?
If you're experiencing a downvote it doesn't mean the one who downvoted has a grudge of you. Maybe you're only doing self upvote, you only upvotes that you knoq here. Self upvote for me is not that big deal because that's our work. Maybe we have that attitude that "love yourself," sounds funny I think, sorry it's offensive. If you have no idea you should think what you're doing to make you realised why you're receiving a downvote.

just my own opinion of advice
If you want to buy votes make sure your post has a purpose. Like for example, you're promoting a tribe, business or anything that steemians must know about that.
Try to explore steem, don't focus on those post you knew here and in your own post only. Steem is like the world, lot of things that can make you amaze. You wouldn't know you will love reading and exploring after it.
To avoid downvote from tribe, why not joining them and understand what are they aiming. Remember most of the people here are looking something interesting.
AS ALWAYS BE OPEN-MINDED, DON'T FOCUS ON ONE THING. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT BUILDING THIS #NEWSTEEM BETTER THAN #OLDSTEEM.
