Festive in the Philippines is one of the biggest events in the country. It became part of our tradition for so long. This day where the merchants, vendors, visitors will visit in a certain place whose celebrating it. Many people will visit a place celebrating it because they're expecting many things in this place. If covid didn't show up there should be a parade and many different varieties in the place. Since the virus is fading. This part in the town of lapu-lapu Cebu City is celebrating their festive.

During the celebration of festive, there will always be a mass. Many people including me went into the church to attend mass, pray and lit candles. Before some entertainment will be started the mass comes first. It's part of our culture because our country is composed of many Christians. Well, I don't mine for someone who will interact about what we believe in in this matter. Just don't act righteously towards me and just respect one another.

Usually when festive will be celebrated in a certain place. There should be a big feast served in every household. But because of this social distancing thing. Maybe every household will just invite friends of families that are very dear to them. Food will not be forgotten in a time of festive because that's the gathering will happen for relatives and friends.

Some people will not be in a friend or someone they knew. Their purpose is just to see the fun being part in a celebration. The merchants that will be gathered in a place and vendors as well to sell their products. You can see some people will only be selling during this day or maybe every time there will be a festive. That's why festive will encourage many people to come because of rare sellers who will be selling on this day. You can't see these people all the time because most of them searching for a place that will be celebrating festive or they'll just be in their houses. You can't see them in Cities or malls. So if there will be a festive you should go to see more varieties in a place.

Can you see this image above clearly? This store was selling decorations and jewellery made from shell. I don't know what's the name of this kind of shells in English. They're different from the shells I used to eat. We call it in our dialect Bisayan word "sigay" but in english, I don't know.

So, people are expecting massive people in a place. The centre of the town was closed and small stores were being built. I think it will just be a week only. They're doing it so that merchants can display their goods. But of course, some business owners will have their place there to display as well. Also, some are selling foods that you can dine in the middle of the street.

This kind of even is so crowded but it's fun. If the only covid didn't ruin every country. I can share more pretty images about what is going on during a festive in a certain place. Sad to say I can only share too many people and few stores in the area. I hope I explained it well but you can ask me if you want to know more about this festive in the Philippines.
