Technology makes work easier and faster but of course, it costs a certain price. Not all people can afford it and some decided not to have it where they thought it's not highly recommended. Particularly in the province where not all people rely on it. Since nature makes the work easier although incomparable with technology. Just like this what I witnessed for some time ago. Children and adults washed clothes in that small river not far from the village.
I just loved taking pictures this day and I don't know why. lol
We were like this before when installing or having a faucet to provide water was hard. It was expensive since it's not easy to find materials. Also, we thought we should not wash clothes at the faucet to avoid having a high bill. Those days were fun because a lot of people in the village went to the river. It's like just a neighborhood where people had conversations even though it was tiring. It was fun, those days were so fun that most of us brought food to eat lunch there together.
Then, I never thought I could see happenings like we used to before. It was nostalgia like I suddenly remembered the feelings I had before. Though the past couldn't return and just the memories brought that happy feeling. It was still worth watching it and taking time to savor the feeling while enjoying it.
It's easier to wash clothes in the river since the water is flowing and the space is wide. Unlike washing at the house where you'll use a basin in doing it. Let's not compare if someone has a washing machine because I know it's really easy to do it. Just place the clothes and let the machine work for you. It's indeed handy but kind of boring doing it inside the house. No beautiful nature can you see and no people you can have conversations to forget the tiredness.
If you haven't tried washing clothes at the river I'm telling you to try it. Just don't wash too many clothes if you don't want to get tired. Just experience it, washing and then swimming after. The water is nice in spring, it's colder and it gives a soothing feeling. Well, I can't explain it because it's just that, that.
