Just recently I wrote a post about the Maasin festival but to be precise it's festive. I shared beautiful images in my own opinion upon seeing those handicrafts, creativeness, and decorations. Obviously, it spent a lot of money but why bother when the city itself is certainly earning more? Just imagine the traffic of the people walking around in that location just to see the beautification of that specific place. When they're finished or satisfied looking around I'm sure they will go places to eat or buy something they will love to have.
Well, it was broad daylight when I visited this place. Some of my friends shared on Facebook how colorful the park was during the nighttime. That's why my sister, who has an 8-year-old daughter, insisted on going. Without delay, we went there to witness the colorful lights, a crowded place yet fun, and to buy something we wanted.
It was so different to be there during the night because of the colorful lights they installed. It's like stairs but not going upward but only at the same level.
It was nice to see it during daylight but when it comes to night. It was pretty awesome because the decorations were highlighted. The colors stood out since it was dark in the surroundings.
We roamed around to see more about the place. Then my niece wanted to buy food. We were walking and walking and enjoyed the view more while passing by every vendor who just built simple plastic cottages. It's just to protect from the rain so obviously, it was not built well and nice. They will just leave after the events so they made it simple.
There was a specific place there where you can drink, liquors or soft drinks. Also, for those who will be hungry after roaming around. You can also eat here, they offer fast food and barbecue here. All of them can be found in one place. Not in the park but not far, next to it you can find this place.
If there's an event or occasion like this you can expect that there will be different varieties. Like toys for the children, clothing, tattoos, jewelry, and many more. That's what makes this kind of event worth going to. Anything you want can be found there.
It's just that when there's an occasion like this it will be too crowded for sure. Well, that was expected because of the varieties in a place like this. Well, it's not always, it only happens once a year so better not to miss a celebration like this.
