Going in a popular tourist spot or a beach is not bad idea. Before you'll think of going you must know that the amount of money to use is bigger. You'll expect that of course, it means that those places are indeed beautiful. However it doesn't mean that unpopular tourist spot or beach is not beautiful also. There are those place's who was not yet discovered by many people. Now this beach that I'll show you and walk with you is unpopular.
This just happened yesterday. Me and my friends visited our friend who celebrated his birthday. Before he lived next into our house but for some reason he lives in a far place, but not that far. Maybe 30 minutes from our place to arrived at his place. When we arrived there he and his family was cooking food for us to eat. But it will take too much time so we decided to go in a place he said, it's a beach. Name of this beach it's "hapitan beach and marince eco forest park." We were excited to go because it's beach, we all love beaches.
We traveled from his house with at least 10 mintues and this bamboo bridge await's us. I wasn't sure if this is an island but you can go in this beach through a bridge. But the bridge is not that long, as you can see the bridge. The sorounding is full of tree's like different types of mangrove.
Now let's go to the mangrove's.

Now let's go inside, this is a river that flow's down to the sea. This is the place for swimming.

The line you can see is the sea that reach when it's high tide.

They have also a bigger place if you want to sing like in videoke. Also according to the people in charge there, every friday in the evening they have a live band. Acoustic or with band and held in this place.
By the way do not worry, the beach has comfort room. It's not that fancy but it's clean.

LOCATION: The hapitan beach is in the brgy of Manhilo, Maasin city. The municipality of this place is Maasin. If you want to go in this place, you should start at Maasin City proper area. Ride in a motorcycle and tell the driver that you want to go in Manhilo. I doubt that many drivers will know about this beach, so if you arrived at the brgy. of Manhilo. Ask the citizens there where is this "hapitan beach and marine eco forest park.
ENTRANCE FEE: 5 pesos or 0.2 dollar's
COTTAGE FEE: 100 pesos or 2 dollar's
If you'll bring liquors there's a charge of 50 each bottle.
