When I wake up, I know that God is the King of kings, the Creator of our life. Someone said he was sick last week. His family took him to the hospital. The doctor asked him what was wrong with him, but the family could not explain. He was treated and recovered. A few days later, the illness returned, and the family said they should take him to another hospital because the previous one was not good. So they took him to Abuja for treatment. The doctors did their best, he recovered and went home. A month later, he fell sick again, and the family understood what the problem was. They then took him to another hospital in Jos. The doctors treated him, and he recovered. The family complains to the hospital that he do not recover every time they go to the hospital, but after a few weeks or months, he feel sick again. One of the doctors said that if they tried more than two hospitals and the disease consistently returned, God would intervene. This was the only advice he could give for now. Back home two months later, the disease returned, and they remembered the advice of Jos's doctor. They took their son to church instead of the hospital. Upon arrival, the pastor told the family he didn't know what was wrong with him, but they could implore God's mercy through three days of fasting and prayer. The family spent three days fasting and praying at the church for God's intervention, and God granted their request. The pastor prayed for him and advised them to try to restore peace within the family, as he saw that peace was not forthcoming. The pastor said that if they refused to settle their differences, their son would not be born. Seven days later, the family returned to the church and told the pastor that they were now at peace. The pastor added that only God could know their hearts and whether they truly forgave each other. They prayed to God to forgive the family and bring his son here. After two and a half hours of prayer, the illness left him. The pastor told them that if any of them tried to speak ill of their brothers, what happened to them today would happen to them.
