Hey Hive!
im flying drones as a hobby and for work since over 5 years. With the time i discoverd also the wide field of FPV RC drones and much more. But due the lack of knowledge and beeing busy with other stuff i never really got into it.. until.. well corona came and locked me down.
I started watching FPV videos over 6 Months ago and started to learn lots of things with youtube and forums. It´s quite hard to get into the field of FPV without having knowledge of electronics, soldering etc. But finally i managed it to get my first drone Running!
I ordered a prebuild Eachine LAL5 from Banggood. (Test Comming Later) Deliver to germany takes roughly 3-4 weeks. More time for more Videos and tutorials! Finally i got my package and started to solder and build my first FPV drone up!
The drone comes already prebuild, you only need to attach the props and a Reciever which is compatible with your remotecontrol. After some soldering and put it all in place you ready to fly!
Before Flying
It helped me alot to get some pratice in a simulator. There are several different "games" sims you can use with your remotecontrol and get a feeling of flying a quad. Before my first flight ive flown about 40 Hours in Liftoff drone Sim.
Its also really helps to watch dozent of youtube videos before you really start flying in real life. i will include several youtube channels at the end.
First Flight
Well that was alot different as expected! I was not prepared for the huge amount of thrust from the drone. Its incredible fast and through your fpv goggles you have a very distorted field of view. The battery time is less then 4-6mins depending on which battery you are flying. Not much time for real life practice!
From flight to flight i can feel getting better and more comfortable with the drone.
My Goal ist to get Cinematic FPV shots with a GoPro attached. Its a matter of time until i can fly this beast pertty well! But untill that, Fly, Crash, Fix, Repeat!
I will record some Videos and share them in the next days!
