The time was 2020. The terrible shadow of the Corona pandemic had spread across the country. Everything had stopped. People were confined to their homes, office projects were closed, the streets were empty. I was also unemployed at that time. Our ongoing project suddenly stopped, and I became unemployed in a way. However, I found a new window in the gap of that closed door. Long ago, I had a strong attraction inside me—to learning 3D architectural design. But due to lack of time, money, and opportunity, it was never started. But in this stagnant time, I only had time—and I wanted to use this time to fulfill my dream.
I used to sit on YouTube every day, watch videos of famous 3D designers, listen to their every instruction carefully, rewind and try to learn by rewinding again and again. I didn't understand anything at first. The complexity of the software, the confusion of commands, and my own limited knowledge—all of it was like a state of collapse.
But I knew that the fruits of effort never go in vain. I have moved forward with patience, learning something every day. Not just one software, but during the Corona lockdown, I mastered two design software and three rendering software. It was the hardest but most fulfilling learning time of my life.
I used to regularly blog about the designs I learned. Those designs that I sweated day and night were the result of my hardships. Many people would get inspired by seeing those posts, comment, and some would even share them. Now I may have switched to another career, so I don't post regularly. But that designer inside me is still alive. I believe that very soon I will come back with something new.
This experience has taught me one thing—even if it is difficult to catch something, if you give it the desire, time, and effort, it will eventually be caught.
To gain knowledge, all you need to do is ask from the heart, and keep moving forward without giving up. Today, I look back and feel proud. Because what was the most difficult for me, I mastered with persistence, patience, and success. I know that if you want to, you can too.
