1oz .999 Silver Round by East India Company 2021. While many coins feature Queen Elizabeth II, or other royalty on one side, this coin fully celebrates the 'Queen's Virtues' - this one being 'Victory Through Harmony' (Source: Silver Gold Bull).
One side of the coin features Queen Elizabeth II, looking to the right, wearing an extra bedazzled and detailed crown, with a black and silver maze background. Across the top curve is the text 'ST HELENA - QUEEN ELIZABETH II - 2021'. Across the bottom curve is the text 'ONE OUNCE 999 SILVER'.
The flip side of the coin features the Roman Goddess of Victory taking the winged form of Queen Victoria, looking to the left. This side also has a black and silver maze pattern in the background, a highly detailed coin. The words on the left side of the coin read 'VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY', representing the British Monarch ideals.
Saint Helena was a crucial island port that was sought after by the Dutch and Portuguese, but ultimately was retained by the British Empire. The island was used as a gateway to trade with India, China, and the Far East. At it's height the port was involved in half of the world's trade, with a monopoly on many items including silk, cotton, salt, spices, and tea (Source).
A finely detailed 1oz silver piece for the stack. I'm waiting for coin cases to arrive in the mail, until then I'll enjoy the Clank Clanking.
