MPATH Member Update - 16 Jan 2021

As I mentioned in the recent weekly post, we have noticed a strange problem with our member voters. It all looks fine from our logs, but the votes were not being delivered.

Last weekend, I configured manually a different voter and that seems to have been working well. However, it does not automatically update the voting weights, as that has to be done manually. This is actually good news for some members, especially those with a small amount of tokens as the weightings have been set to the nearest whole number.

To make up for any previous votes lost, we have also been distributing 2 votes per day, with a maximum of 10 per week. We cannot just deliver endless new votes as our VP would then sink to an unusable level.

Anyway, we shall try to launch our own dedicated voters again and monitor the situation. If there are any issues, we shall revert back to the semi-automated process and update the weightings during this weekend.
