Good answer, and equally great response from the cargox team to deal with the very apparent situation. I'm still dicing up the counterarguements going back and forth in the comments section and will follow up.
In the meantime, this is certainly the only chance to insert more fiat into the game as we get going. Personally I am having ptsd from going heavy on steem and I'm freezing a bit as a buyer.
On another note, as long as steem is "pegged" at 0.40 it represents a money tree that can be used to mine steem to sell for other alts. Unforunately I think that's what everyone seems to be doing. What I'm worried about is when the carpet will be pulled below us.
The whales who came into this game with free tokens would have zero incentive to sell since their powered tokens provide a very good roi.
For those who bought into the game at the peak, such as myself, we find ourselves in limbo. Yes we can get a return, but our whole investment has been shot and we're trying to extract value until we break even.
Having sunken nearly nearly 6btc at the time into steem and it becoming less than 2btcs worth is certainly painful. The only way to recover is to wait or make lateral trades to better tokens.
Can I ask, what do you do for work?
