Hello friends 🤗 Since summer has come, our holiday has started. The best part of teaching is summer vacation. Although it is not a 3 month holiday as it is said. But let it be. Still, summer vacation sounds good. Psychologically, we are very tired. Sometimes I can't stand children's voices. I was hoping to get plenty of rest during the summer vacation. I guess I won't be able to rest much. It looks like my summer vacation will be very busy. I also write about these topics. :)
Today I will tell you about a nice picnic. We decided to have a picnic with my teacher friends from school. Everyone liked this idea. We didn't see each other much outside of school. We were always tired because our work was very busy. That's why we all like the idea of a picnic. We all said what to bring for the picnic. Since my friends love the pastry I make, they asked me to make a pastry. I made pies when I got out of school.

Merhaba arkadaşlar 🤗 Yaz geldiği için bizim de tatilimiz başladı. Öğretmenliğin en güzel yanı yaz tatili. Gerçi söylendiği gibi 3 ay tatil değil. Ama olsun. Yine de yaz tatili iyi geliyor. Psikolojik olarak çok fazla yoruluyoruz. Çocuk sesine tahammülüm kalmıyor bazen. Yaz tatilinde bol bol dinlenmeyi umuyordum. Pek dinlenemeyeceğim sanırım. Yaz tatilim çok yoğun geçecek gibi duruyor. Bu konular hakkında da yazı yazarım. :)
Bugün sizlere güzel geçen bir piknikten bahsedeceğim. Okuldan öğretmen arkadaşlarımla piknik yapmaya karar verdik. Bu fikir herkesin çok hoşuna gitti. Okul dışında çok fazla görüşemiyorduk. İşlerimiz çok yoğun olduğu için hep yorgun oluyorduk. Bu yüzden piknik fikri hepimizin hoşuna gitti. Hepimiz piknik için ne getireceğimizi söyledik. Arkadaşlarım benim yaptığım böreği çok sevdiği için benden börek yapmamı istediler. Ben de okuldan çıkınca börek yaptım.
When we met for a picnic, we immediately laid our covers on the ground and sat for a while. It took a while for everyone to gather. We waited for all our friends to come to the picnic. Meanwhile, we sat and chatted.

Piknik için buluştuğumuzda hemen yere örtümüzü serdik ve biraz oturduk. Herkesin toplanması biraz uzun sürdü. Pikniğe gelecek tüm arkadaşlarımızın gelmesini bekledik. Bu sırada biz de oturup sohbet ettik.
When everyone came, we started to set our table. A friend brought the plates he bought specially for the picnic. They were beautiful plates. The colors were very nice.

Herkes gelince soframızı kurmaya başladık. Bir arkadaşım piknik için özel olarak aldığı tabakları getirdi. Çok güzel tabaklardı. Renkleri çok hoştu.
We all love the kısır made with bulgur. But this time we tried a different flavor. My friend, who is from Konya, was making the kısır with tahini. I've never tried tahini kısır before. I even heard it for the first time. It had tahini and poppy in it. I liked the taste. It was not much different from normal kısır. Tahini had a nice flavor. I didn't get much taste of the poppy.

Bulgurla yapılan kısırı hepimiz çok seviyoruz. Ama bu kez farklı bir lezzet denedik. Konyalı olan arkadaşım kısırı tahinli yapıyormuş. Daha önce hiç tahinli kısır denememiştim. Hatta ilk defa duydum. İçinde tahin ve haşhaş oluyormuş. Ben tadını beğendim. Normal kısırdan çok farklı değildi. Tahin güzel bir tad katmıştı. Haşhaşın tadını çok fazla alamadım.
A friend of mine also brought sprouts. Her mother-in-law wrapped it and put it in the freezer. My friend also cooked and brought it. She had praised her mother-in-law's stuffed leaves before. He said he was making it thin. I wasn't expecting it to be this thin. It was really thin. The taste was also very good. It took a lot of effort.

Bir arkadaşım da yaprak sarması getirdi. Kayınvalidesi sarmış ve buzluğa koymuş. Arkadaşım da pişirip getirdi. Önceden bize kayınvalidesinin yaprak sarmasını çok övmüştü. İncecik yapıyor demişti. Bu kadar ince beklemiyordum. Gerçekten çok inceydi. Tadı da çok güzeldi. Çok emek harcamış.
Another friend of mine made lentil meatballs. I also love lentil meatballs. My friend also did well.

Bir başka arkadaşım mercimek köftesi yapmıştı. Mercimek köftesini de severim. Arkadaşım da güzel yapmıştı.

Benim tabağıma aldıklarım böyleydi. Ben kısırı soğansız yediğim için arkadaşım bana soğansız yapmıştı. Ayrı tabakta soğansız kısır yedim.
There was a lot more food. A friend of mine also made a triliche. He also made 2 types at once. Caramel and cherry. Both were beautiful. Cookies, chocolate cake, pastry, pastry, pickles. It was all very nice.

Daha bir sürü yiyecek vardı. Bir arkadaşım da triliçe yapmıştı. Hem de 2 çeşit birden yapmış. Karamelli ve vişneli. İkisi de çok güzeldi. Kurabiye, çikolatalı kek, poğaça, börek, turşu. Hepsi çok güzeldi.
The picnic we had with my friends was very nice. That was so fun. It was a day with lots of conversation and lots of food. I also took a lot of photos to share here. I couldn't share it right away because I couldn't find the opportunity to write.
