ENGLISH

Greetings dear friends, a few days ago I heard a song that Anthony Queen sings, which is titled **Life itself will tell you ** he there makes an analogy that I like very much, about when we are getting old, he says that we walk through the sunset of our lives, I immediately thought about how beautiful are the sunsets, and what they mean for life.

When the sunset comes we get ready to finish everything we had pending in that day, we get ready to receive the night and rest pleasantly to receive the next day, this made me reflect on the sunset of my life.

In the sunset of our lives, we prepare ourselves to rest from all the road we have traveled to achieve our goals, we prepare ourselves to enjoy what we have harvested throughout our lives and we prepare ourselves to be at peace at the time of leaving this world.

And a question came to me: How beautiful will the sunset of my life be?
I cannot think of an uncertain future, because as this song says, the future is only a promise, life itself will tell you, and predisposing myself to this question would not allow me to enjoy my present to the fullest.

I have seen with sadness, that when you become old you begin to be a heavy burden for those around you, but that happens only if you have not forged good feelings in your family or friends, I also know many who have reached the golden age and that is where they have been able to enjoy the love of all to the fullest.

There are those who value that being who gave everything for their children and try to repay a little of what they have received, dedicating time and giving them the attention and love they deserve, I hope my daughters can have such noble feelings for their parents that we do not become that heavy burden that many avoid.

My husband is diabetic and when I met him he used to tell me that he did not aspire to get old, that he asked God to take him before he started to get in the way, at that time he had lost his motivations to move forward, I did not like to hear him say that, because I have always thought that there is nothing more beautiful than enjoying the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, see them evolve as we did at the time.

Lately I have felt how the sunset comes to my life, began to leave the gray hair, worries increased, began the aches and ailments of course life takes its toll, but we must not lose the desire to enjoy these years that have come with wisdom for the experiences lived.

Today I see the importance of listening to my parents when I was a child, study, prepare for the future now it is me who says that to my daughters, it is there that I realize that time passes so fast that we must not waste it, I think this now in the sunset of my life, when I look with nostalgia the past time and what I could have achieved and did not do for not thinking about a future.

There are those who refuse to grow old, and the more the years go by the better they look, it is a matter of attitude I think, how do you face that age you have reached? That age in which you studied, got married, had children and lived everything that life has presented to you, it is not to die because you got wrinkles or because you no longer have the same flexibility as before.

It is to take advantage of the experience to make things better, it is to assume that you will no longer be 20 but that you can still live 40, 50, 60 or more with the best face, with the best smile, with the greatest joy.

I am very grateful to have my 43 and continue telling experiences with greater maturity, to be able to teach my daughters to value the most important thing we have Our Family! and to prepare for the future without neglecting the present, I am grateful that I have lived love and I have enjoyed it, I have fallen many times, but I get up and continue there are many things to enjoy.

In the song there is a phrase that says 'Dreams put more value in the heart' I would add, if we stop dreaming our life loses meaning and we hinder that road to travel.

I don't know what awaits me in the future, I just hope I can walk through my sunsets with a lot of joy and good attitude, to enjoy each of its instants, but only life will tell me.
