Dubrovnik suffered war in 1991. Eventhough the city is on UNESCO-s world heritage list, the opposite side was attacking for months from sea, sky and land. The hill where photo was taken was for years covered in mines, and fort, built by Napoleon in 19th century was much ruined. Today, there is Homeland war museum with many videos an materials from that period.
