How I learnt to play chess.
My Uncle bought us a set of chess, came round and taught us how to play. He taught us incorrectly how to move a couple of pieces as he had only just learnt how to play!
This is how me, my Dad and my Brother learnt to play chess. My Sister also learnt but never really played as she didn’t like thinking too much.
I was about 6/7 years old and my older brother (who is 7 years older than me) could easily beat me. However I beat him for the first time just one year after learning to play. As my brother couldn’t handle losing he never played chess with me again!
This photo series was edited using my WaterMarker software. It has been through 36 iterations and changes so far with lots of new parameters and bugs fixed.
A superb feature which I'm very proud of including is the ability to zoom into the image to make accurate colour corrections.
