Istanbul is truly such a strange and beautiful place it feels like it is living in two different times all at once
On one hand you have the ancient buildings that form the soul of the city and on the other you have the modern skyscrapers and massive bridges that show the fast pulse of life today
In this set of photos I wanted to capture that exact contrast
From the endless views of the Bosphorus that change colors every hour to the birds flying freely between these two worlds of old and new
This city is not just something to look at it is a place to feel the layers
You can hear the echoes of history in the narrow streets while seeing the hum of the modern world on the big bridges
I love how you can have roots in the past and wings to fly at the same time
