The top picture is edited from the bottom picture with ChatGPT AI.
Usually, I change color and quality in Lightroom or Photoshop.
But this time, I wanted to test AI tools. I wanted to see which tool can help me make a better picture. I want to sell my pictures on sites like Shutterstock and Adobe Stock.
The bottom picture is the main picture. I asked AI to remove the people. I also asked it to make a nice sunset sky.
Because when we went to see this building, it was cloudy and rainy, so the sky was not beautiful
First, I used Gemini and asked it to edit the picture.
After a few tries, it gave me this picture below. It was good, but the quality was low and a bit blurry. I tried many times, but Gemini could not give me a high-quality picture.
I asked Gemini again to make the sky look more natural and after sunset, so it gave me the picture below.
In my opinion, this picture became the best and most natural picture. But Gemini's problem was that it could not give me a 4K output to sell. So, I went to ChatGPT.
The first picture from ChatGPT was very cartoony, and the colors were too exaggerated and not natural. So, I tried to get a better result from it.
And with a little effort, I was able to get the picture you see at the beginning from ChatGPT. There is a bit of exaggeration in it, which actually helps with sales. ( first image )
And finally, what I really enjoyed was converting the picture to a original high quality, which is 3840 by 5760. It gave me the file to download, so now I can put the file up for sale on stock photo sites.
Of course, you might say that AI did all the work, but the truth is that AI was my assistant in this process, which was not very fast either.
With my background in editing and photography, I knew what I wanted to do, and I asked the AI to do that work for me.
This makes the output picture—which thousands of people might have photographed—very unique and with my personal mark, because the idea for the changes was mine, and if there was no AI, I would have done the same things myself.
And of course, AI gave me the picture in high quality, in the best way and much better than what I might have done myself.
