So today i decided to go to market after which i have been procrastinating all this days since holiday is over and i need to go back to my base because work has already started so i decided to go to market today and get some foods stuff that i will carry back to my base and also get some for my sister, don't bother to ask me why don't i go and get it in where i stay in lagos well the fact is that Lagos things are very expensive expecially food here in my home town things looks cheaper so after a long time of procrastination i stood up and go to the market today.
So i left home and early as i can my brother took me to the park with his car now getting to market nothing was funny 馃槀 i must say everything keeps getting high every day that is the price of yesterday is not today, ok i started from this woman
I asked the price of the yam and potatoes she told me six pieces of that yam is #6,000 that is approximately 9 dollars but not up to that anyways here in Nigeria the funniest part is there is deductions in whatsoever you might be buying so i got a deduction of #1,000 that is i got it at the rate of 8 dollars instead of 9.
I moved on to the potatoes too the potatoes is lesser i got 4 dollars worth of potatoes then i told the woman to pack in a big sack for me though i will be paying for that sack .
Ok now that i have a full bag of yam and potatoes i moved next to onions, we all know the advantages of onions in the food so i got few onion too.
I went ahead to get some pepper because we needed to cook at home so i got few pepper for the family
While looking around i saw garden egg and cucumbers so i bought just 1 dollars worth of both
I got some other things that i do not remember to snap like fish and vegetables because it's too crowdy inside that place and if care is not taken i might lost my phone in the process, so while going i remembered my little sister does not have school 馃帓 bag any more and she needed one so bad so i decided to go back to the market and surprised her with just a little one
I picked the red one, i do not have much money on me to get her something bigger than that but at the same time i don't want her to be left out among her pairs because school will resume this coming Monday and i won't be around i needed to travel back to. So i left the market so late in the evening and tired getting home i present the bag to my little sister i thought she won't like it but to my surprised she accepts it with joy 馃槉 i felt so good today and she's happy too so i told her i will get her something big once i have the money, and yes the pepper, fish and vegetables was prepared to eat good swallow 馃槀 it's already digesting i must say.
