I normally start the race last one because when the patch launches it is already 8 p.m. in Croatia and while the patch downloads(11Gb) it takes 5-6h, so I went to bed to get a well earned shut eye. When I woke up and started playing I saw people already have high level characters, so my plan to make a summoner witch was not valid anymore.
Their levels looked something like this:
Duelist lvl 42, Shadow lvl 18
Witch lvl 29, Scion lvl 2
Witch lvl 8
I picked classes that were not in the race at the time and went with them, Ranger and Maraurder, it turned out that was a good choice because I managed to snatch highest levels of those classes in the race which is always nice and won 40 Steem, 4k Dark Energy Crystals and 5 Contest Kings tokens.
Also I was extremely lucky and here is why, when you play any ARPG you always hunt for that elusive epic item drop, in this game you can find an item called Tabula Rasa later in the game by finding divination cards, you can rarely see it drop early. Well, during new league tower defense mechanic I had that elusive drop. Look at it, 6 link any color gem chest piece, it makes early game very easy and it dropped while I was level 7! I guess that was a nice sign of good things to come.
