After an unfortunate quick end of my first character I thought my run would end at the beginning of the race. Well, I'm still alive with my 2nd character (lvl 51 atm) and by my calculations I'm at the 3rd place atm in the HC competition. That progress of course can be lost by one misplaced positioning or by some high level animal with affixes that make everything explode. After some unfortunate high level deaths of my fellow steemians I'm still in the race for the prize, the last few days will be interesting.
Tips on what not to do while playing a hardcore Path of Exile character. Do not take screenshots while fighting bosses that can one shot you. I still did it and miraculously I managed to survive that dangerous stunt. I had several close calls on Izaro and Kitava and escaped with 10% HP left in both instances. Stack that life and resistances boys and girls, without them I would be long gone into halls of Valhalla. Heirophant is a fun character, I now have three totems each casting three frozen bolts, that is a lot of frozen bolts on one screen. I still focus hard on protections and my passive skill tree is now all over the place. Today I will be slaying a lot of old gods, wish me luck :)
