ChainZ Arena is a brand new Blockchain browser based card collecting game with RPG elements that uses 3 big cryptocurrencies, Ethereum, EOS and Tron to fund it's reward pool. This game is surprisingly deep and it has a lot going for it, but before you read any further it is a 100% pay to win game like 99% of other blockchain games, if that is not your thing you can immediately skip this article.

If you're interested there are three main elements which give this game a potential crypto game blockbuster status.

First element is very addicting progression mechanic and card collecting gameplay with various levels of items that you can equip your cards with. Cards have 4 main factions, Fire, Water, Nature and Earth, there are many rarities and you can combine different factions and receive different buffs. Cards have star levels from 1 to 5, you can also evolve those cards to higher levels, but for your main team it is ideal to have 6 five star cards to clear PVE encounters. There is a lot to this system and you will spend days looking for right combinations.

Second interesting part is the Soul token you receive for every purchase in the game which passively pays you all three currencies once per day once you freeze your Soul tokens. Full disclosure I've already spent 60 EOS in three days of playing and I got back 5 EOS, this number will surely drop once the hype dies out, but right now buying ingame items surely pays off, you want those Soul tokens. Right now I have 240 Soul tokens frozen and daily returns are 0.0017 Ethereum, 0.66 EOS and 337 Tron, you can notice through these numbers which community is the most active, Tron guys are leading the pack while Ethereum snobs are nowhere to be seen :) It will be interesting to see these numbers change drastically over time. Because you can only cash out one token you need to exchange Eth and Tron to EOS, so my daily return is 2.5 EOS give or take in my example.

Third interesting part about this game is the community vs community battles. First you need to create your account and pick your faction, chose carefully because once you do it is final, you can only cash out in your chosen cryptocurrency. I sided with EOS because it is easy to enter the game through smartphone Token Pocket EOS wallet that has integrated browser for these type of games. Faction wars winners will receive bonuses in their AFK mining gains. Basically In this game you can also "mine" while AFK which will be your main source for currencies needed to upgrade hero cards, and if you pay you get 4X better results and extra Soul tokens.

There is however another mechanic I'm not a huge fan of, there is another in game token you get by fighting 4 bosses, it is basically a gambling token which you can use to buy wanted card directly from in game store, every purchase will give you back Soul token. Once you beat the boss you get to pick one of 4 boxes each giving you different results, in percentages there is 75% chance you won't get what you want so be careful. You can also purchase packs of 10 cards to get a chance for 5 star cards.

As far as crypto games go this one for me is one of the most addicting ones out there. If you're willing to spend 100$-200$ on this game things might get interesting, I'm leaning to spend another 100$ just to progress faster and get more Soul tokens. Pay to win yes, but it is also addictive as a motherfucker. Pardon my french.
