Bitcoin has always been the boss in crypto, when something good happens in Btc whole market swings up, at least it used to. 2019 proved to be very different, Btc rally resulted in alt dumps, Btc dumps resulted in more alt dumps, the cycle repeated.
This is a factual evidence that alt market will dump even more when Btc dumps more, again when Btc recovers alts will dump again. It's an unfortunate death cycle for alts until something drastic happen. Something drastic is and should be new BTC high which should happen in summer 2020, maybe few months earlier. Until then all our alts, of course including Steem will reach their new lows.
If you're interested in other crypto projects the next 10 months will be probably the best time to enter one of those projects. You just need to research the project and not jump in blindly like most of the people did in bubble of 2017-2018.
It is time to be smart about what to do with your money. No more buying bullshit with no purpose, only go into something you use every day, or into something that accumulates for you passively. What a coincidence, Steem is all that.
When we consider all that, we on Steem hoped things will turn around. Well, the harsh truth is it won't until Btc reaches that mythical new all time high. Best course of action to do if you are like me a Steem believer is to continue what you've been doing all along.
Write regardless of market conditions because writing now is like buying low, if you know anything about anything you should be able to accumulate Steem slowly but surely. I powered up 1000 Steem a month ago, today I'll power up another 400, I'll be powering up a lot more over next 6 months. I don't see any other possible scenario for me to do other than power up.
How about you, what are your plans for this long ass Steem bear season, will you quit or will you build?
