What do you guys think of litecoin? I think it has more future potential than bitcoin.
Here are some reasons why-
- Litecoin has faster block generation, so a higher volume of transactions possible. The average block time currently is 2.5 minutes.
- Bitcoin mining algorithm is more complex, so litecoin welcomes people who are new cryptocurrency mining
- Litecoin has a superior algorithm
Litecoin has a lot of potential, but it most likely will not reach the max total coins of 84 million.
Currently it has a market cap 1/20ths of bitcoin. Litecoin is also supported on the widely known coinbase, so it invites more investors.
Will Litecoin always be the "silver" to bitcoins "gold", or will it become more popular than bitcoin in the long run?
