The last time I've been on HWY 12 (at least, in Washington state), was back in the summer of 2013. I made this photo returning from an expedition in eastern Washington.
This photo is from roughly the same place, six years later.
I like the light in the first one (we came in mid/late afternoon). This last time we came in late morning/noon, so the sun was pretty high. But either way, it's a lovely place.
