Hello Hiveians

  • For a very long time now i have been sckeptical about making a nose mask for me, even though covid-19 is still very much a pandemic in the world and still under fast spread here in Nigeria.

  • Making a cloth mask is the easiest of things but are they really effective as so many people go around with thick fabrics over their noses suffocating them in the process.

  • Most people do not clean or iron the mask to kill germs after use, the keep using thesame mask over and over again.

  • The hospital mask have been the only ones i feel are effective after they must have been chemically treated and are disposed after a single use, besides they are made made of thin layer of a wool like material and one can breath easily.

  • I doubt if mask made of any type of fabric can be protective but i used a cotton fabric that can be well aerated even after adding a white interface to filter out contaminated air.

  • I felt bad about the whole pandemic, the lives we have lost and everything that has falling out of place, i was very much angry and afraid for the many unpleasant things at thesame time.
I wasn't geared to make a nose cover for me because i was not designing something beautiful to serve a good course or impress someone with my fashion takent but designing a mask out of fear and consciousness that i must stay protected.

This is Nigerian situation report and we still have it rising to the high side.

A nose cover can be effective if used with proper hygiene, wash with disinfectant , clean and iron out these fabric covers after very use, or learn to dispose and make new ones.

Thanks for viewing my post, blessed day for everyone
