Happy Cheers to my niece who clocked two years even though we are yet to have a proper party for any of the kids in the house, I often do not hesitate to make them new outfits. At least they could snap pictures on the day and keep those memories ❤.
She is just two years old but so playful cheerful and lively compared to the other children I have seen.
No wonder computer age children are really smart, very quickly she has catch up with two languages and can speak Yoruba and English fluently.
Even though we are from Benue state, she sings songs in our native tongue but cannot speak the language yet.
It is always challenging to sew cloth for my babies whenever they come around visiting me in my apart. They will want us to play the whole day. Children can be positively distracting when you are about doing serious business.
While cutting her outfits yesterday evening after church service, she took the chalk and was playfully marking out some lines and measurements on the fabric.
Please who is the seamstress between us or what does she think she is doing? 😂😀
We had a good time playing and having fun but when they eventually left I was able to sew something for her
I wanted to make something different from the regular so I had cut the lower part into a ball flair for her here
Also I created an illusion neckline for her with a body skin net in the middle of her dress here
For now the dress is partly done. I am short of pearls and have been longing for the day I can make it to the market to replace my bead packs, you would have seen some lovely embroidery work on this.
By the time I was done with this my niece had gone home with her mum and I couldn't get any fitting shots in her dress.
I must commend all mothers out there who are able to manage both their homes, career and taking care of the children at the same time. This is not an easy task and having tried to sew a dress in the presence of my playful niece, I understand just how tasking this job can be.
Raising a home and working at the same time is so much for our mothers out there but I bless God for the grace of how so many women have been able to achieve this ❤😘😍💖
