Well, I am not kidding. This period the 21st century is probably the best time to be alive. You might argue against this statement and say well nothing is good these days, the environment, the politics or competition in the market. I respect your opinion and you are entitled to yours, but don't you think that any and every basic amenity that we want is available to us these days.
Every generation has faced hardships and probably have been through worse situations than us millennials. They have been through social unrest, lack of exposure (in consumer markets) and shortage of food and supplies. But look at us we have everything that we could ever want available at our doorstep.
They faced so much and still won't complain and we lose our shit over the smallest of matters. From someone go crazy at the Baristas in coffee shops for not preparing their coffee appropriately to getting into bar fights for the pettiest of the reasons.
So, how does all this stuff relate to being the greatest time to be alive?
I have said this in the past because I want to hammer this point home in the minds of everyone as it is underrated. The point is that about 70% of the people on this planet need multiple alarms to wake up and I am pretty sure that the other 30% don't necessarily wake up because they want to, they have to because they have to. What this proves is that people who are your competitors are not doing what they like, or cherish they do it because they want to put food in the bellies of their families. Like with everything else in life, someone who does the thing we do and has more will to win will win. If one of us really wants it there is no competition.
The second point is that we are so lucky, that we have all information we require available readily at our disposal. We have books, bulletins and unreal amount of data to help us on our journey and we still are able to make excuses. Great conviction coupled with the will to prepare to win can move mountains and help us achieve we everything we want, so is the time. If one has to succeed we just need to keep a positive approach and remember that this is the greatest time to be alive.
