This wall has no mortar left in it since the water rushing in here wore it away over the past 100 or so years:
The water is just pouring right in underneath the barn door now:
There has been some past work done with mortar. I added some more in the cracks underneath the i-beam:
Here is a picture of some fresh mortar that was applied with a trowel:
This wall has a lot of patchwork that has been down to it by past owners since 1880's when it was built. I'm very excited that I get to add to it:
