I've read many books over the years about the Nazi death camps from a very young age. The things people did to each other is horrendous.
Killing for a crust of bread.
Freaking out when loading in the incinerators and finding your own family members.
Keeping any sense of humanity in these places was almost impossible.
As for concrete assignments one has to be in a position to act on this concept.
You need money to assign yourself the task of being a better parent or partner?
No but money helps immeasurable.
You need money to assign yourself the task of continual improvement?
The assumption here is that one is lacking in some way?
You need money to assign yourself the task of taking better care of health and general wellbeing?
Health is our only true wealth without health we are starting from a disadvantage.
To maintain health in a death camp is an oxymoron. The whole point of the death camps was to kill as many people as possible through starvation, beatings and finally gassing them.
Some of those that did survive did some pretty atrocious things.
Not having read Viktor's book I defer to your assessment. Keeping the spirit alive in such circumstances is a lesson to us all.
