Hi Pryde, I totally agree with all of your points above.

We have something very special here in this community and it bakes my noodle when a tiny (loud) group keep complaining about the steem price only.

The same people rarely produce any content or interact on the platform and just waste our bandwidth with their gripes.

This platform and the positive people on it imo is the best thing to happen on the web in my whole experience of blogging.

We own a part of the steem blockchain and no one can take it away, shadow ban it or shut us down.

That is a first in blogging history and we are part of it.

What the media does not understand is that we are not just a blogging platform but a community of friends and artists and we like it here. #teamsteem

I will be setting up my own self hosted node to run the new MIRA framework at home so that the block chain is secure way into the future.

I know several people who will be doing the thing same as me. 😇
