An Orangutan in the bushes

It's not often that you can get this close to an Orangutan; at least not in the UK? This example was very calm and just sat there with not much to say.

Apparently the name Orangutan in Malay means 'person'. When I was a child it was widely believed to mean. 'Old man of the forest? Who knows the truth? Maybe some of our friends in Malaysia or Indonesia have the answers? :)
