I took this photograph of a boat on a small pond off of the main Ouse fen using the Canon 50 mm prime lens.
Boat on a pond
The 50 mm lens is good for landscapes and nature photos in general. In this photo it gives an almost painterly look to the image. It has many other uses which I will continue to explore. It gives you almost the same image as you see with your own eyes.
