Usually made my people who have no clue how to actually make content of any kind.
So what exactly is good content? and is it true that you get paid every time you create a great piece of content, write a stella blog post or uploaded the best photo of all time?
No definitely not. So why do we do it?
I blog on a few platforms and one of them is Hive. It's a very friendly and social website but the technology behind it is far from ordinary.

Hive pays its contributors for creating and/or finding good content using 'Hive' and Hive backed dollars (HBD) these tokens can be powered up to give yourself more influence and voting power or swapped for Bitcoins, other crypto currencies or cash.
The more tokens you accumulate the more control you can have over your voting power.
Hive uses your content to build its block chain. Building strong links in the process and generating more tokens to distribute to it's users.
Content can be divided into to two broad categories for our purposes and in this specific context.
There is original content that has been specifically created for a target audience and then there is user generated content (UGC) cat photos, memes etc that social media company's use to profile it's users so that they can be advertised at.
They sell your data to advertisers, political groups or anybody who offers them enough cash. This is known as "Value extraction" and it is the business model that just about all web 2 company's use. Facebook, twitter google etc.
