Can't afford the latest Canon 50mm STM Lens? then get yourself an older version of the same lens. From what I'm seeing there is not much difference in terms of image quality? Marginal at best?
Why spend £200 ($265) on the latest stm lenses when you get just as good a result in terms of image quality from a much cheaper older used EF 1:1.8 II lens for £25 ($33)?
Okay it may have a bit of a noisy auto focus drive motor but do you really care if you are just shooting photographs?
