My growth so far on Hive won't have been possible if not for the great authors I met on this platform whom their articles has always been a great help unto me. I look forward daily to each of their write ups which always inspired me whenever I'm here.

I have come across many individuals that has been a big part of my growth here and I'm grateful for that. Please note that my list here is in no particular order cause I have many mentors that are really lovely and amazing who keeps me in check at all times.

Two habits that leave you with zero value

@george-dee is a very passionate writer who I look forward to seeing every of his entries. He wrote amazingly and I'm always amused by the indepth of his choice of words. In this chosen article of his, he talked about how humans are imperfect beings that have their individual set backs. And that we need to always listen to corrections so as not to make the wrong choice in life. He talked about been selfish and greedy as the two habits that can leave one with zero value.

He shared a story of how he worked with a neighborhood brother who is into construction and painting job, who was a self centered man, who spend his money on gambling and women. He doesn't treat him and his sibling who are his labourers well in which the man paid them ridiculous wages for their labor. He also narrated how he helped the same man write a paint production proposal and he got the job with the hope that he would get a double workmanship payment but on a long run the man deducted every penny he spent on transportation and feeding. The man was later render useless by his selfish and greedy nature.

I learnt front the article that selfish and greediness are negative natures that can't give any value to ones life and it also hinders ones greatness.

True friendship; how we met

@glorydee she is also an amazing writer whom I came across last year during newbies initiative program.
In this article, she made me understand the meaning of true friendship that it is someone you can rely on or feel at ease with.

She shared a story of how she met her friend whom she loved so dearly, she met her during her days in the secondary school. Her friend was a transfered student who was new and as well passing through family issues at that moment, so everyone judged her by her moody appearance. Along the line, they both got along well and they became the best of friends which also brought both families close.

I learnt that true friend are selfless who are part of you that can't be left out. They are always around in every situations either good or bad.

Incredible Transformation From A Novice To A Competent Engineer

@actordontee is also a wonderful writer who I appreciate his works alot. In this article he talked about the importance of talent discovery. He said talent is the driving force that will be pushing you to strive hard to become a professional in your field. He also talked about how upgrading oneself through researches or learning from ones senior colleagues is necessary in whatsoever we are doing,

I learnt that been a novice in a particular field isn't a crime but remaining in a spot without improvement is the real crime

All eggs in one basket

@kingsleyy is one of the jovial friend I've met on Hive, he is such a loving guy who has been a source of inspiration.
In this entry, he talked about how his boss left his promising laundry, canopy rentals and event management business to be a manager of an eatery owned by one of his relatives. And when sales started dropping the owner decided to shut down the business then the manager became helpless and had nothing to fall back to.

I learnt that humans has no control of the future, so to be on the saver side one need to spread ones egss in different basket and not depend on one way job.

Not even for a million dollars

@kushyzee is also a lovely writer who I admire his entries dearly. In this article he talked about what he can't be caught doing even if he is been offered a million dollars. He wrote on killing and internet frauds.

I love this entry alot and I learnt that those that indulge in these act of wickedness are those who had no conscience and the love for humanity in them is dead.
