Year 2023 is two days away, I'm so excited because this out going year had been a year filled with lots of merries and joys. I can say I'm among the fortunate individuals in year 2022 that had a year filled with wonderful new experiences. No doubt, the year has been one of my best years so far.
Some Of My Joys
I am grateful totally to God for been alive. My greatest joy is that myself, siblings and parents had been hale and healthy. We don't have any cause to be running helter skelter over anyone in the family. I'm not saying none fell sick in the family but its never beyond our control, we got treated and became well. So far, we have had a healthier year filled with joy and happiness.
I'm happy that I achieved some of my heart desires also, I was able to purchase a sewing machine for myself. When I started learning how to sew, my greatest out cry was to have a sewing machine of my own that I can practice with. Even though I'm not a professional seamstress yet, I'm happy my dream came through, I was able to achieve my aim, I'm really excited to have a sewing machine at home.
Not only that, my job had been stable (I'm a teacher in a government school), it has been a great relief for me. I've been able to cater for my family in my own little way. My budgets this year really worked out as planned, I'm still not financially buoyant but I'm grateful that I'm not indebted. I've been able to save and as well live independently.
Also, I was able to buy a new phone for myself with my own savings for the very first time this year. Previous years, I've always purchased fairly used phones because of my financial instability. But with determination, I was able to save up in other to buy a brand new phone. It was one of the better decision I've made this year and I'm so proud of myself
Another great joy was my introduction to Hive blockchain. When I started I thought it would be a difficult platform, but along the line I received a huge help. I was selected in the newbies initiative program, my joy know no bound because the program really helped me a lots. I've learned and still learning from different authors articles and I've also met new friends from all over the world. I must say, Hive blockchain is an awesome place to be and it's also a life changing platform.
Finally, my sweetest joy took place on December 19th when my younger ones was among the shortlisted graduating student of University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. My younger brother is now a certified Civil Engineer while my younger sister is also a certified Human Resource Manager. We can't thank God enough for the mercies that He had bestowed upon them for this great accomplishment. I saw the joy in my parents as they wept happily in appreciative to God for helping them see us through University despite all odds. My family now has four graduates of different disciplines.
I will say 2022 is a year filled with happiness and joys and the year is really ending well for us, I hope the remaining days in the year and the coming year work out for our good.
