Monthly garden update: saffron, chia, laquot And other fruits
Greetings hivers I'm here posting after a long time as it is winter I'm seeing everything freezing around the world especially the places where it snows .
In my region it doesn't snow in winter but the fear of frost is alarming as we know is a micro layer of ice it freezes liquid or water inside the body of plant which might result as plant's death there we keep fertilizing our crops to stay strong.
This is the amount of saffron I got cuz there was only one flower bloom it has a deep melodious fragrance.
I had also planted some chia seeds in a clay pot they grew overcrowded so i thinned them and planted separately they are also going well now all of them are blooming very cute little blue colour flowers and now I'm waiting if a pollinater came across i will surely have a handful of chia seeds at the end of season chia are often called superfood as they have a large amount of protein and a lot of other micro minerals and they are often used in shakes.
In my lawn there are two peaches and one Loquat fruit tree besides mango,jamin( a local purple colour fruit which bear fruit in moonsoon for a short period of time) mosambi ( citrus) 🍋 ,grapes and other fruits are planted in my lawn everyone of those is in dormant condition beside loquat they are blooming well evenly in these mystical,cloudy season where it is rare to see sunlight it was heavily smog and fog everywhere therefore I had to place all my pots inside back home before sleeping.
I have also planted lupins and chamomile plants.
If anyone rememberd I've posted when i planted radishes now they are also grown well and eatable.
Now feb is started this week remained great and sunny i hope soon we will see signs of spring around the world and it will bring every thing back to life .
Also it will be a blessing for wild life who is struggling for life in this harsh climate.
