Her judgement
Cast like a shadow
Upon the minnows gathered at the shore
Envious of their crumbs
Jarred by their disjointed movements
Not graceful...
They should be graceful

She remembered when they were beautiful
Synchronized
Flowing and playing with the current
Deserving...

But these minnows
Were not what they claimed to be
She clutched the crumbs in her hand
Unwilling to waste them
She turned away
And the minnows never noticed her

-moeknows@moeknows: Feel free to critique this poem or any others I have authored as you see fit. Just be respectful.

I wrote this a while back. Soon after coming to the blockchain. It was a reaction for someone who felt the quality of the poetry found here was beneath her. My standpoint was that it would have been better if she would have simply offered feedback instead. I still feel this way.

To me, the biggest thing missing from poetry on the blockchain is the interaction from other poets. I think there is room for some criticism in that interaction. I think any interaction, even critical interaction, makes the poetry community even better.
