I haven't had time to fully digest this yet, but I did notice the following:

Justin Sun basically stated that he felt the Acquisition of Steemit was more of a partnership.

He said he found after the acquisition that their funds were frozen.

He said they recovered the funds and then gave governance back to the community.

He said Steem is decentralized.

At that point, I felt compelled to make a comment on the video as I felt that he was flat out lying. Take a look and let me know what you think. He comes on at about the 2:56 mark.

Here is my comment from youtube:

Surprisingly, I agree with a fair amount of what Justin Sun said however, he did flat out lie about one thing. He does control the Steem blockchain because he has (and actively uses) the ability to decide the witness nodes (essentially miners in Steem) who govern the chain. For example, when the top witness voted against a recent softfork proposal to freeze specific user accounts, steemit.inc, under the direction of Justin Sun, ousted that witness from the top spot to number 50 making it a non-factor in voting. It should also be noted that he has this control over all of the top 20 witnesses, thus centrally controlling the Steem blockchain.
