Kalofer is very beautiful, small Bulgarian town located 60km from second biggest city in the country - Plovdiv.

Small town with such a powerful energy.
One of my favorite humans ever, a great poet, idealist, one of the biggest fighter for our freedom (from The Ottoman empire) and an amazing person was born here. The revolutionist - Hristo Botev.

Feel so privileged every time when I visit this little town! Knowing that I set foot on the very same land that he was born, live and fought for. Your spirit is alive, Hristo. I can feel it in my veins. Through your words, actions and your legacy. I just want to say: Thank you. I love you.

Heroes never die.

Also if you are around Kalofer there are 3 towns next to each other: Karlovo - Kalofer - Sopot with our 3 biggest heroes in each of them Vasil Levski - Hristo Botev- Ivan Vazov. Coincidence? 🙂
