I'm a wreck lol. I'm turning 36 soon, and for most of those years, perhaps up to 30, I was totally careless about literally everything, and certainly feel like I'm paying the price for it now.

I remember seeing my weight at 75kg in 2013 or so thinking it was a lot. Then some time later 82, then 85, 90, now I just saw 97. And the funny thing is I've improved my lifestyle significantly since those days.

As teenagers we really don't get the reality that just maintaining whatever you're doing now, isn't gonna cut it in a few years. Now I'm hitting the gym, cycling a lot, playing tennis, eating healthier, but those kg's are still piling on, creeping up bit by bit.

And just experiencing my body's mechanics just crumble is almost comical, with my tinnitus from all the loud concerts, ear infection, messed up big toe, 3 slipped discs in my spine, things just cracking every time I move - I always thought that was just a joke about aging but damn.

And the worst part is I also get the worst features of being young, so not only do I still get acne, but it's also hard to be respected as an elder might be through experience. I'm 13 years into my career but people assume I'm a newbie at every corner.

I admit, I'm enjoying the challenge of trying to overcome it all, though. Gym and tennis makes me feel real good even though it apparently seems to be making me even fatter.
