Fungi Friday || Three Types of Mushrooms That Grow By Sticking To Weathered Wood || 22 July 2022
This is one of my contributions to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Hello friends, how are you all today, hopefully on this happy day we are still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.
Today I have prepared some pictures of mushrooms, Still as usual when Friday comes we always share the beautiful mushrooms that we have prepared beforehand. I have also prepared several types of mushrooms which I have found in several places. The mushrooms that I photographed are mushrooms that grow on rotting or rotting logs in one place and I am very interested in seeing the condition of this mushroom so fertile. They can stick to logs that have been cut or rotten logs, indeed this type of fungus likes to stick to rotten tree trunks. All right, my friends, I will show you the pictures that I have prepared for all of you, let's see below.
As we know, there are many plants in nature that we can use as processed materials to become medicine. And the mushroom that I show above is one of the mushrooms that has been used as an ingredient for processing medicine since the 15th century made by the people in China. And several studies have found and reported about this mushroom that this mushroom has many benefits in increasing the immune system. In my area this mushroom is called turkey tail mushroom, if we like to explore the mountains or climb, of course we can find this fungus very much on rotten tree trunks or dead trees. In theory I've also read why this mushroom is called a turkey tail mushroom because the color of this mushroom resembles a turkey's tail feathers, so people often call this mushroom a turkey tail mushroom.
The one above is a red mushroom that I found in a burnt bamboo tree that had been burned a few weeks earlier. Mushrooms that have a very bright color they also stick firmly in damp places on trees and when I found these mushrooms when it was raining and the bamboo places were also wet and they could grow well when the weather was like that. In addition to growing on bamboo that has been burned, of course this fungus can also grow on other weathered wood, as we know, usually every fungus still likes moist places to be able to thrive.
The third thing I want to show is a mushroom shaped like an umbrella which has a very beautiful motif for us to see. This fungus grows close to the dead kedondong tree. Around this mushroom also a lot of grass that grows but among the grass is all dead. I saw this mushroom also flourishing in that place and I have taken some pictures of it.
Friends, wherever you are, enjoy the images that I share today, hopefully with this image you can all see it clearly and be useful for all of us. Thank you to all members and seniors who have given me the opportunity to work for their beloved community.
