I gave him a b+ on his progress report. it wasn't that i didn't like him. it was just i knew a lot of others who were far more talented in handling weapons than him. but i had no choice but to train him and give him a chance to prove himself. he had no choice but to take it. he would have turned it down of course, but not only his parents made him but he also enjoyed guns. his brothers and sisters called him stupid and said he had no goals. he couldn't understand why no one wanted to be like their parents why they have no dreams of their own. there was nothing weird about training for something.Blad
Sun was setting on the horizon- a vast expanse of reds and oranges, shining through the lungs of the celestial giant like a dying campfire. Beneath it the city crawled like a great, black, maggot, wiggling in the dark, reaching out with its infinitesimal limbs to probe for the nourishment it needed to survive.
He pulled his cloak tighter around his shoulders. The night was cold. Even though it was late autumn, it hadn't rained in weeks and the heat stifled the breeze as it swept up from the plains of hell. Occasionally, a stray drizzle would fall, but it was as futile as the hopes of a toddler, its droplets disappearing into the sandy mud in an instant.

"So do you." Blad replied. He walked on, though the man stood still, watching his every move.
"Hm… do you want to come in?" The man asked, jumping slightly at the sudden train of thought.
"Where?" Blad replied, his face straight.
The man smiled a true grin, revealing perfect white teeth against his milky-white skin. "You look like you've been in hell too long."
"So do you." Blad replied, knowing the man knew he was bluffing.
"Good. We have so much in common. Why don't you come in with me?" The man replied, snapping out of his stupor. "I could use some company."
Finally, Blad sighed and stopped.
"Fuck it." He mumbled to himself. He looked over, into the dark windowless building. "Sure."
The entrance hall was a mess of scribbles. The walls were plastered with lewd signs, most of them not even readable, some of them, even suicidal.
Blad walked on, trying his best to ignore the signs. He walked up the stair, traversing the maze of graffiti.
"Here we are. The room at the end.
